Dreading going to the beach with your toddler - sand everywhere and the suncream tantrums?
Try these tips 👇👇
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ Apply your suncream before you head out of the door. Use a UV sunsuit & hat 🧢 which helps avoid having to put suncream everywhere! ☀️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣ Take enough food and snacks to last you the time you’re there and add extras just in case. 🍏
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3️⃣ Keep snacks/food in individual pots that you can hand out. Nothing worse than getting sand in your main big box of food!🥝
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4️⃣ Take a bag so your toddler has somewhere to put their special beach treasures 🦪
5️⃣ Get your toddler excited about the beach and let them help you pack (only if you’re not in a rush!) 🎒
6️⃣ Take our muslin blanket to use as a towel to sit on 🏖
7️⃣ Pack some muslin cloths to wipe up spills, blow noses, use as a napkin! 🤩
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
8️⃣ Protect eyes with a pair of our sunglasses which are UV400 and don't forget to pop on one of our new sun hats! 😎
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
9️⃣ Freeze a bottle of water 💦 or a juice the night before, this can double up as an ice pack, and also will keep your drink super cold on a very hot day. Nothing more disgusting than drinking warm water.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🔟 Take a muslin swaddle to use as a sarong, beach cover up 👙 or quick drying towel. It’s also gentle to vbrush sand off the little people’s skin 🏖
1️⃣1️⃣ I like to travel light but if you have room take a small pop-up tent they are fantastic but can be a little tricky to fold backup.
1️⃣2️⃣ A battery operated fan you can get some small ones on a stand or that clip onto your buggy or pop-up tent.
Little ones can't regulate their body temperatures like we can, so try and pack as may items such as fans, cold drinks, tent for shade, muslin's to use as a cold flannel, flasks and iced bottles of water to help cool them down.
